STATE MODERATE FAMILY WAITING LIST OPEN


***The State Moderate Family Waiting List will OPEN on June 6, 2018. Applications will be accepted for 90 days.***

 

Housing Authority of the Town of Greenwich (HATG) will be accepting pre-applications by mail for 2 & 3 bedroom units in the above-mentioned program post-marked beginning on June 6, 2018.


A pre-application form will be used to apply for the State Moderate Family Waiting List. HATG will review reported incomes to draw qualified submissions for a random selection lottery. All eligible forms postmarked during the application period will be added to the list. 
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to pay the base rent. Minimum base rents are $750 (2BR) & $800 (3BR). The rent charged will be the higher of (a) base rent or (b) 30% of AGI.  There are maximum income limits based on family size.
The application period will continue for 90 days unless a sufficient number of applications are received to meet the HATG marketing plan.  One pre-application form per household will be allowed and must be addressed and mailed as follows:

The Family Waiting List for Public Housing was CLOSED on January 12, 2018 and no longer accepting applications.

Existing waiting list applicants seeking information on their files must submit their request in writing.

 

When any list opens it will be announced in The Greenwich Time and here on this website.
